Citizens who noticed the hedgehog trapped inside the iron pipe in Serinyol District of Antakya district reported the situation to the fire brigade. Upon notice, the fire brigade was dispatched to the area. The hedgehog, which was found by the fire brigade to be at a depth of approximately 1.5 meters, was rescued by the group chief teams cutting the iron pipe, which took 1 hour.
