Athletes from Gerze, who competed in the Stars European Judo Cup held in Kocaeli, won 1 gold and 1 silver medal.
Athletes from Gerze also participated in the Stars European Judo Cup held on 11-12 July, which is included in the activity calendar of the European Judo Union and Turkish Judo Federation.
Aylin Melisa Abalı, one of the athletes who took to the tatami with the national team jersey in the tournament, won the gold medal in the 63 kilo star women's category, and Simay Kısa won the silver medal in the 40 kilo junior women's category.
Ardacan Gökgöz came fifth in the junior men's 66 kilo category, and İbrahim Yiğit Saraç came seventh in the 66 kilo star men's category.
