According to Kelley Blue Book data, the new vehicle average transaction price (ATP) in June increased by 0.6% year-over-year to $49,758. Sales volume increased by 7.6% annually as buyers turned to more affordable segments. As subcompact SUV sales rose more than 23%, this segment, priced at $31,113, offset total ATP.

The average electric vehicle (EV) price fell 4.5% to $56,238, marking a six-month annual decline. While Tesla prices decreased 2.1% annually, Model Y sales accounted for 35% of all EV sales. Incentives remained at 13% for EVs, above the industry average of 7%.
