Under the auspices of Marmaris District Governorship, a commemoration and respect dinner was organized for the martyrs and veterans of the coup attempt carried out by the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization on July 15, 2016.
Speaking in the program, Marmaris District Governor Nurullah Kaya said, "July 15, the strongest sign of our nation's defense of its will and love of the country, was written in golden letters in our history. In that dark night, Marmaris was one of the most important centers targeted by the treacherous coup attempt. Along with Istanbul and Ankara, the traitors who aimed at our nation's will could not achieve their goals in our district where our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stayed. Our state's security forces, heroic Our police, our soldiers, our self-sacrificing public servants and our beloved nation have put up a great fight. I would like to express my gratitude to all our security forces, public officials and our nation who fought with great courage and determination at the beginning of their duties that night. The sacrifices and heroism they showed will always live in our memories as an unforgettable part of the July 15 epic of Marmaris. The most valuable heroes of this great epic are undoubtedly our martyrs. "On this occasion, we commemorate the heroic children of Marmaris, our Police Special Operations Deputy Commissioner Martyr Gülşah Güler and our Police Officer Martyr Nedip Cengiz Eker, with mercy, gratitude and gratitude, and we commemorate all our martyrs who died for the sake of our country with respect, mercy and prayers."
The program started with visiting the photo exhibition on July 15. It then ended with district Mufti Yunus Açar's prayers for the July 15 martyrs and all our martyrs who passed away.
The dinner organized by Marmaris Social Services Directorate and Marmaris Social Aid and Solidarity Foundation in the garden of a hotel in Siteler District, under the auspices of Marmaris District Governorate; Marmaris District Governor Nurullah Kaya, Aksaz Shipyard Commander Rear Admiral Cemalettin Çifçi, District Police Chief Murat Karaman, District Gendarmerie Commander Major Berker Dongul, Muğla Bar Association Marmaris representative Lawyer Buğra Yavuz, veterans living in Marmaris, relatives of martyrs, Marmaris District Mufti Yunus Açar, July 15 Veterans, PÖH who were martyred in Ankara Gölbaşı. While Commissioner Gülşah Güler's brother Reşit Güler and his nephews attended, July 15 veterans, families of martyrs living in Marmaris, Marmaris representatives of the Combat Veterans Association, directors of institutions and organizations in the district and representatives of political parties attended. - MUĞLA
