Mawlid was read for the martyrs in Şırnak and Bingöl on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
In the program held in İsmetpaşa District Ulu Mosque under the coordination of the Provincial Mufti's Office in Şırnak, Mevlid-i Şerif was read and prayers were made for the martyrs.
After the program, various refreshments were served to the citizens.
Later, Governor Birol Ekici and his entourage visited the "Commemoration and Experience Tent" established in Cumhuriyet Square.
A video showing the historical course of the night of July 15 was watched in the tent, and then the July 15 Photography Exhibition set up in the square was visited.
Mayor Mehmet Yarka, 23rd Infantry Division Commander Major General Rıfat Dönel, Chief Public Prosecutor Yusuf Canik, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Major General Zafer Tombul, Provincial Police Chief Volkan Sazak, AK Party Provincial Chairman İbrahim Halil Erkan, institution representatives and citizens attended the events.
A mawlid was read for the martyrs within the scope of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day events in Bingöl's Solhan district.
In the program held at Solhan Ulu Mosque, which started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, mawlid and hymns were read.
District Mufti Fatih Baz prayed for the July 15 martyrs and all the martyrs.
Citizens were offered rosewater and Turkish delight as they exited the mosque.
District Governor Okan Ayaz, Deputy Mayor Sabahattin Kıvanç, Provincial General Assembly Member Mehdi Sevinç, institution managers and citizens attended the program.
