The forest fire that broke out in Balıkesir's Altıeylül district was taken under control by air and land interventions.
Flames broke out in a field in the Macarlar District for an unknown reason.
Regional Directorate of Forestry teams were dispatched to the region to extinguish the fire that spread from the land to the forest area.
The fire was intervened with 5 aircraft, 3 helicopters, 25 water trucks, 7 fire trucks, 14 water tankers, 5 first response vehicles, 19 service vehicles, 3 dozers, 3 graders and 290 personnel.
As a result of the intense activity of the teams, the flames were taken under control.
On the other hand, the forest fire that broke out in Kavaklı District of Karesi district was extinguished as a result of the intervention of the teams.
