Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that, in the investigation carried out within the scope of the fight against drugs, a detention order was issued for 25 suspects who are known to the public as artists, actors, business people and operators.
In its statement regarding the operation, Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office said, "In an investigation carried out by our Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office within the scope of the fight against drugs that threaten public health and safety, evidence supporting reasonable suspicion that the suspects, known to the public as artists, actors, businessmen and operators, used drugs and stimulants, facilitated the use of drugs or provided a place to use drugs, was reported to the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command for 25 suspects on 16/07/2026." "They were instructed to be present at the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office after detention, search, biological examination and taking of their statements."
Within the framework of the operation carried out by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was learned that the well-known pop music artist İlyas Yalçıntaş and Fatih Aksoy, one of the famous producers of the TV series and cinema world, were detained by gendarmerie teams.
