Fenerbahçe has completed the transfer of British star Mason Greenwood, who plays for Marseille, for which he has been pursuing for a long time.

Yellow-dark blue manager Cihan Kamer and football director Oğuz Çetin went to Marseille the other day to complete the transfer. Having completed the transfer, the yellow-dark blue staff started their journey back to Istanbul with the player. Greenwood, the new transfer of the yellow-dark blue team, wore the yellow-dark blue jersey for the first time and addressed his fans.
Expressing his first thoughts, the star name said, "Hello, Fenerbahçe fan. I want to thank you very much for the support you have shown me in recent weeks. I'm so happy to be here. I hope we can have a great season. "Come on!" he said.
On the other hand, the amount that Fenerbahçe sacrificed for this transfer has become clear. The yellow-dark blue team will pay a net transfer fee of 40 million euros to the French team Marseille. The agreement also includes a performance-based bonus clause of 2 million euros.
Making long-term plans with the 24-year-old talented attacker, Fenerbahçe will sign a 4-year contract with Greenwood that will be valid until June 2030. The British star is expected to earn a net annual salary of approximately 10 million euros from the yellow-dark blue team.
Mason Greenwood impressed everyone with his performance in the Olympique Marseille jersey last season. The young star, who scored 26 goals and provided 11 assists in 45 official matches with the French team, had a direct impact on 37 goals in total.
