Fenerbahçe defeated Austria's LASK team 2-1 in the third friendly match within the scope of the new season preparations.

In the match played at Raiffeisen Arena, coach İsmail Kartal took the field and the first 11 was Mert Günok, Mert Müldür, Skriniar, Oosterwolde, Levent Mercan, Guendouzi, Bartuğ Elmaz, İrfan Can Kahveci, Fred, Kerem Aktürkoğlu and Talisca.

In the yellow-dark blue team, İrfan Can Eğribayat, Engin Can Biterge, Nathan Ake, Archie Brown, Rodrigo Becao, Çağlar Söyüncü, Ognjen Mimovic, Omar Fayed, İsmail Yüksek, Marco Asensio, Emre Demir, Anthony Musaba, Cengiz Ünder, Oğuz Aydın and Sidiki Cherif were substitutes in the match.

Fenerbahçe, which started the match effectively and played almost the entire first half in the opponent's half, took the lead with the goal of İrfan Can Kahveci in the 6th minute. Failing to widen the gap in the remaining period, the yellow-dark blue team entered the dressing room with a 1-0 advantage.

In the 74th minute for Fenerbahçe, İrfan Can Eğribayat replaced Mert Günok and Çağlar Söyüncü entered the game instead of Milan Skriniar. The score did not change in the remaining part and Fenerbahçe left the field victorious 2-1.

Fenerbahçe's new transfer Nathan Ake played his first match in the yellow-dark blue jersey.

The experienced defender, who joined the yellow-dark blue team's Austrian camp last week and trained directly with the team, became a substitute against LASK.

Ake, who entered the game in the 67th minute of the match, was appreciated for his performance.

11 players from Fenerbahçe were not included in the squad for the LASK match.
