Mason Greenwood, acquired by Fenerbahçe from Marseille, has become the yellow-navy blue club's most expensive transfer with a transfer fee of 39 million Euros.
Fenerbahçe, continuing its activities in the summer transfer window of the 2026-2027 season, made its 5th transfer with Mason Greenwood. The yellow-navy blues signed a 4-year contract with Greenwood, whom they acquired from the French side Marseille for a transfer fee of 39 million Euros. The 24-year-old footballer also went down in history as Fenerbahçe's most expensive transfer.
While a transfer fee of 28 million Euros was paid to Italian side Lazio for Matteo Guendouzi, who joined the squad in January of last season, this figure previously topped the list as the highest amount paid for a player's transfer on behalf of the club.
A total of 18 million Euros was spent on the permanent transfer of Sidiki Cherif, whom Fenerbahçe had initially brought into its squad on loan with a buy option during the winter transfer window, by the end of the season. The transfer of Kosovan forward Vedat Muriqi also materialized for 15.5 million Euros.
