While the most migration was for better housing and living conditions with 9 thousand 290 people, the least migration was due to retirement with 281 people. While 37 thousand 711 people migrated to Aydın in 2025, where a total of 40 thousand 849 people migrated in 2024, there was an approximately 8 percent decrease in immigration in one year.
On the other hand, Aydın emigrated a total of 32 thousand 935 people for various reasons in 2025. The most migration was due to better housing and living conditions with 7 thousand 94 people, while the least migration was due to retirement with 158 people. A total of 35 thousand 832 people emigrated from Aydın in 2024, and 32 thousand 935 people emigrated from Aydın in 2025, while there was an approximately 8 percent decrease in emigration in one year.
