In Bodrum district of MUĞLA, a jet ski with 4 Iraqi nationals from the same family on it capsized. While one of the family's two daughters drowned, the search for the missing father and his other daughter continues.

The incident took place yesterday around 05.30 off the coast of Akyarlar. The jet ski with 4 people from the same family, including 2 children, capsized due to strong waves and adverse weather conditions. Coast Guard Command teams were dispatched to the region upon the notice of the sailors in the area. The Iraqi mother, who was on the jet ski, was rescued alive from the sea by the crew of a nearby motor yacht during the incident. However, the father and his two daughters were lost at sea.

Sea and air search and rescue operations were launched by the Coast Guard teams. While the studies were continuing, a girl found motionless on the water surface off the island of Kos, Greece, was noticed by the people on the ferry traveling from Bodrum to Kos and the Greek Coast Guard was informed. During the investigation, it was determined that the girl, one of the missing children, had died.
