The martyrs of July 15 were commemorated in the march, in which Gerze District Governor Yıldız Büyüker also took part.
The program held in front of the Government House after the march started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Ahmet Saatçi, the Imam of Yavuz Selim Mosque.
After a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, District Governor Büyüker made a speech about the meaning and importance of the day.
In the program, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's address to the nation was followed live on the screen.
In the program, hymns and odes were read by the District Mufti's Choir, and prayers were made for the martyrs by District Mufti Mustafa Aktaş.
The program ended at 00.13 after the sela was recited from the mosques.
