In the Anamur district of Mersin, students receiving hafızlık (Quran memorization) training connected with nature and had an enjoyable time with sports activities during a morale and motivation program.

Within the scope of the event organized under the coordination of the Anamur District Mufti's Office, students from the Musab Bin Umeyr Hafızlık Kur'an Kursu gathered at a picnic program held in Kaş Pazarı Yaylası. Throughout the day, students participated in various social and sports activities, watched off-road shows, and had fun moments playing traditional children's games like tip-cat.

Following the program, a preparatory match was held on the artificial turf pitch at Kalınören Lütfi Özdemir Park, ahead of the traditional football tournament planned to be organized among summer Quran courses. Students took to the field in an atmosphere of friendship and brotherhood, conducting their first training session before the tournament.

Muhammet Ebubekir Sert, a Quran Course Instructor, stated that hafızlık training requires intense discipline, emphasizing the importance they place on such activities to boost students' morale and motivation. Sert added that students had the opportunity to rest both mentally and physically.

During the event, students also received awareness training on environmental cleanliness, the culture of sharing, the consciousness of acting together, and compassion towards stray animals.

Anamur District Mufti Mehmet Fidan, who participated in the program, stated that hafızlık is not merely about memorizing the Holy Quran, but that this process must be completed with patience, discipline, and good morals.

Students who participated in the event expressed their satisfaction with the organization and requested the continuation of similar activities. - MERSİN
