Producers in the Kışlak District of Yayladağı district separate the wheat stalks they harvested with a threshing machine in the middle of the scorching heat. Producer Mehmet Türkoğlu, who said that they protect themselves from the sun by drinking water in hot weather, said, "As you can see here, we pull the stalks of wheat and barley from the threshing machine. We put the straw from the wheat stalks into sacks. We started at around 11.00 in the morning. "We do it all the time when we have work. Hot weather puts a lot of pressure on us. We drink water or sit in the shade to protect ourselves from the hot weather," he said.
