SİVASSPOR Coach İsmet Taşdemir stated that the priority of the club before the new season is to strengthen the financial structure and said, "Our priority is to reset our debt and ensure that Sivasspor becomes a debt-free club as in the past. If we open our transfer board, we can claim the play-offs and the championship."
İsmet Taşdemir, the coach of the red-white team, who continues their preparations for the new season at the club facilities, answered the questions of the press members before the training. Referring to the past process and his return to the team, Taşdemir said, "I hope the new season will be beneficial and auspicious for all of us. Last year, we had some plans to bring Sivasspor back to its deserved place, but the process was not as we wanted. The club came to the point of being abandoned. During that period, I came to Sivas and met with our Governor, Burak President and Board of Directors, but we decided to leave because we could not see a healthy progress. Afterwards, our Burak President came to office again and our management was formed. He met me. He called and said that the community needed me. I came after this call and we have been training for two days. We are going through a difficult period, but we can come out of this process stronger with unity.
'OUR PRIORITY IS TO RESET DEBT AND OPEN THE TRANSFER BOARD'
Emphasizing that the primary goal of the club is financial discipline, the experienced coach said, "We are going step by step right now. We aim to clear our current debts. If we cannot clear it, the debt will continue to multiply. If we can open the transfer in this direction and place the right players in our team, we can make serious statements about the play-off pot and championships. Hopefully, with the support of all Sivas people, we will clear the debts to zero and open our transfer board. It is clear that we will have problems if we cannot complete the transfer process, everyone knows this."
'WAYS MAY PARTY WITH BADJI AND KIMPIOKA'
Giving information about the deficiencies in the team and the situation of the players, İsmet Taşdemir concluded his words as follows:
"Emirhan Başyiğit had an injury from last year, his treatment continues and he will come in 1-2 days. Our management is carrying out its activities regarding Badji. If we can reach a certain point, Badji will not be among us next year. Kimpioka was also training, but there was a meeting with him today. Maybe we may have a crossroads with him. We are careful while taking the steps because we have 2-3 transfer ban files. We do not want more files to be opened. It is very difficult to repair the problems related to foreign players. It's happening."
