Two suspects who were caught during an operation in Sakarya while transporting drugs from Istanbul to Ankara were sent to prison.
Under the coordination of the Sakarya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch carried out an operation upon information that drugs would be shipped from Istanbul to Ankara.
The teams followed the car, which was determined to have set off from Istanbul, and stopped it at the Adapazarı toll booth in the Sakarya section of the Northern Marmara Highway.
During the search of the car where the suspects E.A (33) and G.İ (46) were located, 213.35 grams of synthetic drugs, 9 synthetic drugs, an unlicensed gun, 9 cartridges and 110 thousand lira, which was considered to be obtained from drug trafficking, were seized.
The suspects, who were sent to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station, were sent to prison by the judgeship on duty.
