National athlete Mert Başarı from Kütahya achieved third place in Turkey by winning a bronze medal at the Anadolu Yıldızlar Ligi (ANALİG) Greco-Roman Wrestling Turkish Championship held in Söke district of Aydın.
Mert Başarı, competing in the 57-kilogram category at the championship held between July 6-8, 2026, successfully reached the podium with his strong performance against his opponents. After tough matches, the young athlete secured the bronze medal, bringing another significant achievement to Kütahya.
