One person died and 23 people were injured as a result of the trailer behind the tractor carrying picnic goers falling into the cliff in Muş's Bulanık district.

According to the information obtained, the traffic incident occurred in the Gelin Çeşmesi area of ​​the Bulanık-Varto highway. The Özcan family, who lives in the Ürünlü hamlet of Meşeiçi village in Bulanık district, got on the tractor trailer and moved to Gelin Çeşmesi location for a picnic. Allegedly, the tractor separated from the trailer for an undetermined reason. Many people in the trailer, which was thrown into the cliff on the roadside, were thrown into the environment and injured. Upon notice, health, gendarmerie and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams provided first aid to the injured, who were thrown into the cliff, at the scene and then took them to Bulanık State Hospital with ambulances. Relatives of the Özcan family, who received the sad news, flocked to Bulanık State Hospital. Bulanık District Governor Ömer Övünç Koşansu also came to the hospital and visited the injured. Koşansu, who received information from the doctors about the health status of the injured, expressed his wishes for a speedy recovery to the family members.

A large-scale investigation was launched into the accident. In the initial investigations, it was learned that a technical examination was carried out to determine the reason for the separation of the trailer from the tractor.
