Various programs were organized in Muş's Bulanık district for the 10th anniversary of July 15.
Within the scope of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day events, Bulanık District Governor Ömer Övünç Koşansu first visited the grave of Martyr Teacher Sait Korkmaz, along with the protocol. After the recitation of the Holy Quran and prayers, a Mawlid was read for all the martyrs at the Central Mosque. Then, the protocol visited the family of Engineer Private Hasan İrkoş, who was martyred in Şırnak in 2008. After planting saplings in memory of martyrs and veterans in the July 15 Memorial Forest, hundreds of citizens attended the commemoration program held in Bulanık City Square in the evening, with Turkish flags in their hands.
The program started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, and a video showing the epic of heroism shown by the nation during the treacherous coup attempt was watched. While citizens gathered in the square gave messages of unity and solidarity, the program ended at 00.13 at night with greetings rising from all mosques in the district. - MUS
