Commemorative programs were organized for the students studying at Summer Quran Courses in Tavşanlı district of Kütahya on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
In the events organized under the coordination of Tavşanlı District Mufti's Office, the spirit of heroism, unity and solidarity displayed by the Turkish nation during the treacherous coup attempt on July 15, 2016 was conveyed to the students. In the programs, it was aimed to raise national awareness among young generations by explaining the nation's struggle to protect democracy through various activities. It was stated that the programs organized in summer Quran courses contribute to children gaining historical awareness and growing up with national values.
In the commemoration programs, the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country were commemorated with mercy and prayers, while the heroic veterans were remembered with gratitude and gratitude. Students prayed together for the martyrs during the programs where Quran recitations were performed.
In the statement made by the Tavşanlı District Mufti's Office, it was said, "Our programs, which aim to contribute to the education of our children, who are the guarantee of our future, with the love of the homeland, nation, flag and adhan, were carried out in a very meaningful atmosphere in our courses. May our Lord protect our country from all kinds of mischief and calamities, have mercy on our martyrs, and grant health and well-being to our heroic veterans.
