Within the scope of the activity carried out by Samsun Police Department Bafra Anti-Narcotic Crimes Group Chief teams on March 7, 2025, an operation was carried out on the suspicious movements of Fatma Özeroğlu, who came to Bafra from a different province. During the search carried out on the suspect, 1 kilo 205 grams of methamphetamine was seized, and during the search carried out at his residence, 3 sensitive scales, which were considered to be used in drug trade, were found. After the investigation expanded, an unlicensed gun and precision scales were seized during the search at the house of Selçuk Çalışkan, who was determined to be linked to the incident. A decision was made in the case filed against the two detained people on the charge of 'trafficking drugs or stimulants'. Bafra High Criminal Court sentenced Selçuk Çalışkan to 22 years and 6 months in prison and Fatma Özeroğlu to 18 years and 9 months in prison. -SAMSUN
