According to Turkish Electricity Transmission Inc. data, on an hourly basis, the highest electricity consumption yesterday was at 15.00 with 53 thousand 949 megawatt hours, and the lowest consumption was at 06.00 with 37 thousand 853 megawatt hours.
On a daily basis, 1 million 142 thousand 420 megawatt hours of electricity was produced yesterday, and the consumption was recorded as 1 million 138 thousand 962 megawatt hours.
Hydroelectric power plants with dams ranked first in production with a share of 22 percent. This was followed by imported coal power plants with 18.6 percent and solar power plants with 16.1 percent.
Yesterday, Türkiye exported 8 thousand 509 megawatt hours of electricity and imported 4 thousand 945 megawatt hours of electricity.
