Mehmet Aktaş (70), who was found motionless face down in the sea in BURSA's Mudanya district, died in the hospital where he was taken.
The incident took place around 09:00 at Güzelyalı Burgaz Beach in Mudanya district. Those who noticed the person standing motionless face down on the sea surface, approximately 5 meters from the shore, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon notice, health, police, and Coast Guard Command teams were dispatched to the scene. The person who was taken out of the water and whose name was learned to be Mehmet Aktaş was given first aid by medical teams at the scene. Aktaş, who was taken to Mudanya State Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved.
