Kütahyaspor, one of the TFF 2nd League teams, added experienced defender Mehmet Yiğit to its squad within the scope of the new season transfer activities.
The 35-year-old defender, who won the championship with Muğlaspor last season, signed the contract binding him to the blue-dark blue colors at the ceremony held at the club building.
Mehmet Yiğit, who has won championships before in his career, said that he aims for the same success in Kütahyaspor.
Yiğit said, "Now, I have come to a champion city, thank God. I am coming as a player who has been a champion many times. We are also aware of the goal here. We are also aware of the sustainability of success. I know that we will experience the joy of championship without any hesitation when I come here. I have always been a football player who tries to make every penny of the money I earn in the club I go to halal, and tries to belong to that club with his soul and body. I hope I will be an example to my friends both on and off the field. At the end of the season, we all expect, "We will achieve that cup, that success that he desires," he said.
Mehmet Yiğit, who played in 29 matches for Muğlaspor last season, had previously won the championship with Bursaspor in his career. The experienced defender played for many teams in the TFF 1st League for many years. - KUTAHYA
