6 UAVs were detected near the US Consulate General in Erbil, the capital of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (KRG).
Security sources announced that the air defense systems located near the consulate general were activated and the UAVs approaching the region were neutralized. It was reported that parts of the destroyed UAVs fell near the scene of the incident, and material damage occurred in a taxi that was hit by shrapnel.
It was reported that there was no loss of life or injury in the incident. Security forces launched an investigation into the incident.
