BEIJING, July 15 (Xinhua) -- The new giant panda facility at Beijing Zoo opened on Wednesday.
Spread over an area of 13,000 square meters, the facility offers giant pandas a much more comfortable living space with four indoor sections, five animal shelters and five outdoor activity areas. Half of the pandas in the zoo, which currently hosts 10 giant pandas, have been moved to the new facility.
