CleanSpark produced 614 Bitcoins in June, compared to 671 in May. BitFuFu's production decreased from 177 to 125 Bitcoins, and Canaan's decreased from 90 to 64 Bitcoins.

The weak production reports come even as Bitcoin mining difficulty fell more than 10 percent in mid-June, hitting a 2026 low. The adjustment was a move that reduced the computing power needed to mine new blocks, the second biggest drop of the year. Meanwhile, Bitcoin has recovered above $64,200 after falling to $57,800, its lowest level in nearly two years, towards the end of June.

CleanSpark's monthly Bitcoin production fell by approximately 9 percent, while the average operating hash rate dropped from 46 exahashes per second in May to approximately 43 exahashes per second in June. The company closed June with 13,924 Bitcoins, making it the eleventh largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder. CleanSpark shares rose 7.7 percent to $13.30 on Tuesday. This increase was largely driven by the company's separately announced $6.6 billion, 20-year lease for its AI data center campus in Georgia.

While BitFuFu's production decreased by approximately 29 percent, the total hash rate decreased from 19.5 exahashes per second in May to 15 exahashes per second in June. The company stated that the decline primarily reflected a decrease in managed hash rate. However, it continued to expand its fleet of devices and deployed 1,200 additional S21 XP miners during the month, increasing its hash rate to 3.5 exahashes per second. The company also signed a deal to install another 2,000 devices in July and secured a contracted hashrate of 5.3 exahashes per second starting in August. BitFuFu shares also rose 6 percent to $1.42.

Canaan's production also fell nearly 29 percent. The company attributed this decline in part to power grid maintenance at one of its mining sites. Its joint venture in Texas has recovered from wildfire disruptions that disrupted production in May.

Canaan added 49 Bitcoins to his treasury, closing June with a record 1,915 Bitcoins alongside 3,953 Ethereum. The company's shares decreased by 1.5 percent to $0.30.
