Ukrainian President Zelenski: Russia Hit Ukraine with 135 UAVs and 10 Missiles During the Night - Breaking News

(ANKARA) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski reported that Russia attacked various regions of Ukraine overnight with 135 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), most of them ballistic, and 10 missiles.

In his statement on his X account, Zelenski stated that 7 people, including a child, were injured in the Kharkiv region, and that civilian residences, a gas station and railway infrastructure were damaged in the attacks.

The President of Ukraine used the following statements:

"Last night, Russia launched 135 unmanned aerial vehicles and 10 missiles of different types, mostly ballistic, against our cities and settlements."

7 people, including a child, were injured in the Kharkiv region. Ordinary residential buildings, a gas station and railway infrastructure were damaged.

Three people were injured in the Chernihiv region. The Russians damaged a residential building and the power grid, leaving thousands of families without electricity. Repair teams are working to restore electricity to citizens as quickly as possible. An apartment building was also damaged in Zaporizhia.

Russians hit Kiev with ballistic missiles. Damage occurred at 16 different points in the capital, including an ordinary school and a business. Critical infrastructure facilities in the Dnipro, Donetsk, Zhitomir and Odesa regions were also targeted.

The pressure on Russia needs to be increased. We cannot stand still. The European Union's 21st sanctions package should be adopted this week. Every day of delay in sanctions decisions gives Russia more time to prepare for them. Chips, microchips, dual-use products... the supply of everything that Russia uses to prolong the war and attack people must be stopped.

Our agreements with our European partners to strengthen the defense capacity against ballistic missiles can really increase the security of our people.
