Türkiye A National Amputee Football Team continues its World Cup preparations in Samsun.
According to a statement from the Metropolitan Municipality, the A National Amputee Football Team, which is continuing its World Cup preparations in Samsun hosted by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, is proceeding with its camp activities at an intense pace.
The national team players, staying at the Delta Life Camp affiliated with the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Disability Services Branch Directorate, took a break from their training schedule and explored Samsun's natural and historical beauties with the Metropolitan Municipality.
During the excursion organized as part of the camp program, the national team not only boosted their morale but also got to know the city's important tourism destinations up close.
Visiting the Samsun Promotion Center, the national team learned about the city's prominent destinations, gastronomic values, and alternative tourism routes.
The national team delegation, visiting the Vezirköprü district, toured Şahinkaya Canyon and enjoyed the unique scenery.
The national athletes also visited the Sunken Minaret in Bafra district, experiencing pleasant moments intertwined with nature. The crescent-and-star team, participating in a canoeing event, both had fun and found an opportunity to relieve the stress of their intense camp schedule.
The A National Amputee Football Team also visited the Mavi Işıklar Education, Rest, and Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled, owned by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, and examined the facilities offered at the center.
