Fenerbahçe added English football player Mason Greenwood to its squad.

In the statement made by the yellow-dark blue club, it was stated that a 4-year contract was signed with the 24-year-old attacker, who was transferred from French representative Olimpik Marseille.

It was reported that Fenerbahçe will pay a transfer fee of 39 million euros to Olympic Marseille for Mason Greenwood in 3 equal installments within 3 years.

Greenwood started his professional career at Manchester United, the English team from which he trained.

The English football player played his first professional match at the age of 17, entering the game in the 87th minute of Manchester United's match against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League in March 2019. Mason Greenwood played for the first time in the English Premier League in the Manchester team's match against Arsenal 4 days later.

The 24-year-old player scored his first goal in his professional career in September 2019. Greenwood became Manchester United's youngest player (17 years and 353 days) to celebrate a goal in European cups by scoring the net in the UEFA Europa League match against Kazakhstan team Astana.

Mason Greenwood, who scored 35 goals in 129 matches with Manchester United, went to the Spanish team Getafe in 2023.

Greenwood served in the Spanish representative Getafe in the 2023-2024 season.

The 24-year-old football player shook the net 10 times in the 36 matches he played for the Madrid team.

The Olympic Marseille adventure lasted two seasons

Mason Greenwood was transferred to Olympique Marseille at the beginning of 2024-2025 for a transfer fee of £ 31.6 million.

Greenwood, who played for the French team for two seasons, scored 48 goals in 76 matches in all competitions.

The 24-year-old football player broke new ground in Marseille last season. Mason Greenwood, who scored 4 goals in the match they defeated Le Havre 6-2 in October 2025, became the first Marseille football player to achieve this after Jean-Pierre Papin, one of the legends of France.

Greenwood also played for the England National Team once, in September 2020, at the age of 18.
