The 15 July Martyrs Bridge, which was closed to traffic in both directions due to the events held within the scope of the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day, was reopened to vehicle traffic after the completion of the program. While traffic flow on the bridge returned to normal, drivers started using the route again.
Temporary traffic measures taken due to the events held during the day in Istanbul were lifted after the program ended. Thus, vehicle passage was restored at points that were previously closed to transportation.
In line with the decision taken by the Istanbul Police Department Traffic Control Branch Directorate, the 15 July Martyrs Bridge was closed to vehicle traffic in both directions due to the "15 July Democracy and Martyrs' Commemoration Run".
