On the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, when the terrorist organization FETO's treacherous coup attempt of July 15 was suppressed by public resistance, boats and a cortege for the martyrs were formed in the Bosphorus. The cortege consisting of 253 boats also included the ships and boats of the General Directorate of Coastal Safety and the Coast Guard Marmara and Straits Regional Command.
