Supreme Court Member Ömer Faruk Aydıner, who demonstrated the first reflex of the law by preparing the first detention order for the coup plotters on the night of the treacherous coup attempt of July 15, made striking statements at the conference held in his hometown Elazığ on the 10th anniversary of the coup. Speaking at the program, FÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş emphasized the history and insidious structure of the organization and said, "The foundations of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization were laid in 1965. You all remember the judicial coup carried out by Zekeriya Öz and those who carried out activities like him against the elected government, with the conspiracy files of December 17 and December 25, they first tried to defeat our elected government, our president, our prime minister, and to take over this country by destroying its reputation in the eyes of the nation, with our nationally-minded members of the judiciary, who were in the judicial world, and the civil service. "We started to fight together with the nationally-minded people in the armed forces, our MİT organization and other institutions. We eliminated the 17-25 December judicial coup and the Selam Tevhid investigations. But this was not enough for them, they carried out the July 15 coup attempt and they perished in the face of this superior courage of the nation," he said.
"They made ISIS attack Ataturk Airport 17 days ago and rehearsed it."
Explaining the insidious connection between the Atatürk Airport attack and the coup attempt through the investigations he carried out, Aydıner said, "I also conducted the investigation of the Florya Air Force Academy. I took the statements of regular privates as witnesses within the scope of the investigation. The privates said to me, 'Dear Chief Prosecutor, the commanders took us out of the barracks, saying DAESH raided Atatürk Airport again, we are going to save them.'" Atatürk was sent to DAESH 17 days ago in order to be able to easily remove the soldiers from the barracks. "They attacked the airport and rehearsed it. They martyred 45 of our citizens and injured 236 people. We had to understand how they prepared the coup with these treacherous attacks before the coup," he said.
