Various programs were organized in Adana, Mersin, Hatay and Osmaniye on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.

In the program held at Istasyon Square in Adana, a moment of silence was observed and the National Anthem was sung.

After the recitation of the Holy Quran, prayers were made for the martyrs.

Speaking at the program, Governor Mustafa Yavuz said that they are together with the same faith and determination on the 10th anniversary of the coup attempt.

Stating that they once again shouted for the nation to stand up in the square and the integration of the state with its nation, Yavuz said:

"Ten years have passed. Our pain has not diminished, but our memory has deepened. Our responsibility has grown, the value of our unity and solidarity has increased much more. Our duty now is not only to commemorate July 15, but also to understand, explain and keep it alive. This memory will be one of the strong pillars of the Turkish Century. Because the Turkish Century is the century of a nation that walks with its own will, protects its democracy and independence. Türkiye's future will be the century of a nation that does not forget its past, protects its values, its republic, democracy, independence, "It will rise on the shoulders of young people who are devoted to their sanctity and homeland."

After the speech, the video about the coup attempt prepared by the Presidential Communications Directorate was watched on the screen on the stage.

In the program, national athlete Beyzanur Seylan, who was the last to carry the flag on the 2,500-meter track within the scope of the "15 July Martyrs Banner Run" organized in the city under the coordination of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, delivered the Turkish flag to Governor Yavuz.

Later, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's speech in the program "15 July in its 10th Anniversary: ​​The Will is Ours, the Victory is Ours" was broadcast on the screen.

At the event organized by MHP Adana Provincial Directorate in the city, the Holy Quran was read for the martyrs and lokma was distributed.

A "Commemoration March" was held in Mersin within the scope of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.

Citizens gathered in front of the stage of the National Garden in Yenişehir district, accompanied by Governor Atilla Toros, district governors, mayors and representatives of non-governmental organizations.

Participants started walking from Silifke Street with Turkish flags and reached the Republic Square.

In the "Commemoration Program" held in the area, a moment of silence was observed and the National Anthem was sung. During the program, the Holy Quran was read and prayers were made for the martyrs.

In the program where the July 15 Documentary was watched, July 15 veteran Tugay Toprak talked about his experiences.

At the event, students read poems, and the athletes participating in the "15 July Martyrs Banner Run" delivered the banner they brought from the race to Governor Toros.

In the program, Governor Toros stated that the epic written by the nation on July 15 is growing day by day and said, "The spirit that rose in the squares 10 years ago is still standing today. With God's permission, it will remain standing until the end of time." he said.

Toros emphasized that they will never forget the heroes who ran to the squares for their homeland on the night of July 15.

At the event, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's speech at the "15 July in its 10th Anniversary: ​​The Will is Ours, the Victory is Ours" program held at the Capital National Garden was watched.

In the program, the Mediterranean Mehter Band and the Provincial Mufti's Office Hymn Band performed, and the Mediterranean Regional and Garrison Command Band Band gave a concert.

At the event, a July 15 themed video prepared by the Presidency was screened.

A moment of silence was observed and the National Anthem was sung at the event held within the scope of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day at EXPO Kisecik Amphitheater Area in Hatay's central Antakya district. During the program, the Holy Quran was read and prayers were made for the martyrs.

Hatay Governor Mustafa Masatlı, in his speech, noted that the epic struggle on July 15 will be an inspiration to future generations.

Explaining that the people of Hatay stood tall next to the national will on the night of July 15, Masatlı continued his words as follows:

"This ancient city has known how to unite in every difficulty it has faced, to heal its wounds together and to walk towards the future together. February 6, the disaster of centuries, and the subsequent earthquakes left our Hatay faced with one of the greatest destructions in its history. However, we have once again witnessed the power of our nation and state in the face of this great disaster."

Metropolitan Mayor Mehmet Öntürk also noted that the spirit of unity on July 15 reminded itself again in the earthquakes on February 6, 2023.

In the program, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's speech and the Directorate of Communications' cinevision screening were followed.

The program continued with a musical concert by Hatay Gazella Choir, and poems were read by the students.

The program ended with hymns performed by the Provincial Mufti's Office Hymn Choir.

In Osmaniye, with the participation of the city protocol and citizens, Dr. accompanied by the Osmaniye Municipality Mehteran team. A march was held from Ahmet Alkan Street to Devlet Bahçeli Square.

The program started with a Mehteran concert, a moment of silence was observed and the National Anthem was sung.

Prayers were made for the martyrs during the program, where the Holy Quran was recited.

Governor Mehmet Fatih Serdengeçti said that 10 years have flown by in the river of time.

Stating that they are celebrating the anniversary of the epic written by our beloved nation with their bare hands and strong faith against an irrational treason network that was aiming at the country's independence, Serdengeçti said:

"This dignified resistance, beyond being a mere breaking point in the history of Turkish democracy, is engraved in memories as the strongest manifestation of state-nation integration. July 15 is a glorious resurrection in which our nation made its heart the last line of defense for its independence and future, took democracy out from under tank pallets and glorified it with the flow of its forehead."

Following the speeches, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's speech and a video screening were made.

The program, in which poems about the meaning and importance of the day were read, ended with a concert given by artist Elif Avcı.
