In Alanya district of Antalya, a convict with a finalized prison sentence for drug trafficking was apprehended during public order and traffic inspections carried out by motorcycle gendarmerie teams.
Motorcycle Public Order Teams operating under the Konaklı Gendarmerie Station Command, affiliated with the Alanya District Gendarmerie Command, continued their public order and traffic inspections in their areas of responsibility. During an operation carried out by the teams, a person who was stopped was determined to have a finalized sentence of 8 years and 4 months in prison for the crime of 'drug trafficking'. The suspect, identified as S.G. (50) during identity checks, was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams. After procedures at the station, the convict was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the Peace Criminal Judgeship before which he appeared, and subsequently transferred to Alanya L-Type Closed Penal Institution. - ANTALYA
