Altekma, one of the EFELER League teams, announced that it has reached an agreement with its former player Özgür Karababa from the reigning champion Ziraat Bankkart. In a statement made by the İzmir-based team, it was said, "Özgür Karababa will wear the Altekma jersey again in the 2026-27 season. We welcome Özgür Karababa back to the Altekma family and wish him a journey full of health and success together."
The 23-year-old middle blocker, who came up through the Milas Belediyespor youth system, had previously worn the Altekma jersey for 2 seasons between 2023 and 2025.
