In the accident that occurred in the Yeniköy area of the Izmir-Istanbul highway, the car left the road and caught fire. Flames broke out on the land due to the flying vehicle. 4 people in the car were injured.
The accident occurred on the highway in Yeniköy location of Karesi district. The vehicle with plate number 10 ATU 760, which was traveling on the highway, overcame the barriers and flew into the field as a result of the driver losing control of the steering wheel. Upon notification of the accident, fire brigade, forestry, 112 health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. As a result of the accident, the vehicle with plate number 10 ATU 760 left the road, was thrown into the field and caught fire, causing the fire to ignite the grass in the surrounding area. 4 people in the vehicle were injured and were handed over to 112 Medical teams. The flames coming out of the grass on the field and roadside were extinguished by forestry and fire brigades.
