According to the company's Monday statement, this asset, worth approximately $10.5 billion at $1,820 per ETH, makes Bitmine the largest institutional Ethereum owner on a global scale. The company holds the position of the second-largest institutional crypto treasurer overall, behind only Strategy's $54 billion Bitcoin position.
The latest figure marks an increase of 27,801 ETH compared to the previous week and puts Bitmine at 96 percent of its goal of reaching 5 percent of the Ethereum supply. Lee stated that the company maintained its high purchasing pace and cited Robinhood Chain's mainnet launch on July 1 as evidence of Ethereum's usage area. Lee said Robinhood's 27 million users pay crypto transaction fees in ETH, meaning everyday users are starting to view ETH as a currency.
Ethereum dropped by 1.95 percent to $1,766 in the last 24 hours. The asset is trading 64 percent below its historical peak of $4,946 in August 2025.
Bitmine announced that 4.92 million ETH, which is more than 85 percent of its total assets, is currently staked. According to the company, staking transactions operate with a seven-day return of 2.70 percent, and annual staking revenue is estimated to be approximately $242 million. This figure is expected to grow to approximately $284 million as the company scales through its own validator infrastructure.
Apart from Ethereum, Bitmine reported holding 206 Bitcoins, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries and a $69 million stake in Eightco Holdings, as well as $482 million in cash and securities. The total value of the company's crypto, cash and other assets reached $11.3 billion.
Bitmine shares also closed the Friday session with a 1.97 percent increase at $ 14.98, showing that investor interest continued.
