Erkan Değişmez, who played football for a full 11 seasons at Bodrum Futbol Kulübü, one of the 1st League teams, has returned home as general captain. Değişmez, 39, who played for Regional Amateur League (BAL) team Torbalıspor last season and ended his active football career, has opened a new career chapter.
In the official statement made by the club, it was announced, "There are some names that don't just wear the jersey, they embody its spirit. Erkan Değişmez, who proudly wore the captain's armband during our historic journey from BAL to Süper Lig, and who, with his fight on the field, his character, and his sense of belonging, is one of the iconic figures of our club, has started his duty as General Captain at Bodrum Futbol Kulübü."
