The Depository Packaging (DOA) System, which Türkiye implemented throughout the country on July 1, was shown as an exemplary recycling model for many Western countries, especially the USA.
The system, which was implemented within the scope of the Zero Waste Movement and carried out by the Turkish Environment Agency (TÜÇA) affiliated with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, turned into a major environmental mobilization in a short time.
According to official data, in the first 10 days of the application, a total of 18 million 775 thousand 861 packages were successfully collected throughout the country and brought into the recycling chain.
