Eskişehir Governor Erdinç Yılmaz met with members of the press at the Governorship Square on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day and made statements. AK Party Eskişehir Provincial Chairman Gürhan Albayrak and the accompanying AK Party organization also participated and supported the press release. Drawing attention to the 10 years that have passed since the treacherous coup attempt, Governor Yılmaz emphasized national unity and solidarity in his speech.

"My dear friends, members of the press, as we all know, tomorrow is July 15, 2026. In other words, 10 years have passed since the treacherous coup attempt of the FETO terrorist organization on July 15, 2016. Tomorrow, we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of our July 15 National Unity and Democracy Day in this square. This is a holiday for all of us. This National Unity and Democracy Day is a holiday for the whole country. All our political parties, civil servants and political parties celebrate this holiday. We are preparing to celebrate enthusiastically in this square together with our social organizations, public institutions and our very valuable citizens of Eskişehir, and we invite all our citizens, all our non-governmental organizations, public institutions and organizations to this square. Tomorrow, this square will be filled with people, hopefully, in the evening. Because the Turkish nation is such a nation that when it comes to its homeland, we all know what happened on July 15, there are children of the nation who lay down under the tanks without fear. As long as there are such children, with God's permission, our glorious flag will always fly in the sky, and traitors will not be able to enter our heavenly homeland.
