Truck driver Numan A. (22), who was detained yesterday after the traffic incident in which Yahya Ergin (81) and his wife Aysel Ergin (80) lost their lives in Kozlu district of ZONGULDAK, was referred to the courthouse.
The accident occurred yesterday at around 15.30 in the Ilıksu location of Kozlu district. The car with plate number 67 UA 738, driven by Yahya Ergin, and the truck with plate number 06 CAM 67, driven by Numan A., collided. In the accident, the driver of the car, Yahya Ergin, and his wife, Aysel Ergin, died in the hospital where they were taken. The couple's funeral was taken to the morgue after the procedures. After the accident, truck driver Numan A. was taken into custody. Numan A., whose procedures were completed at the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, was referred to the courthouse.
The Ergin couple will be buried today after the afternoon prayer at Uzun Mehmet Mosque in Zonguldak.
