HAK-İŞ Confederation delegation visited the July 15 Martyrs' Cemetery in Karşıyaka Cemetery on the 10th anniversary of July 15.
HAK-İŞ Confederation President Mahmut Arslan and his accompanying delegation visited Karşıyaka July 15 Martyrs' Cemetery on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day. Making a speech during the visit, Arslan said, "We have been carrying out a series of events with our martyrs in this cemetery every year since the attempt to invade our country on July 15, 2016. The basic motto of these events is that we have not forgotten July 15, we will not forget it, we will not let it be forgotten. Because, as Aliye Izzetbegovic said, 'If you forget the coups and genocide, it will happen again, it will start again.' "That's why the great epic our nation put forward against this treacherous coup attempt should never be forgotten," he said.

Noting that July 15 was not just a coup attempt, Arslan said, "July 15 is an attempt by the imperialist forces to invade our country by using this treacherous organization. Our 253 martyrs and 2 thousand 740 veterans have actually gifted us the epic ideal of resistance against the occupation of our country. Therefore, we will continue the July 15 coup attempt and the invasion attempt of Turkey, never forgetting our confederation and unions, together with our brothers, our martyrs, "We need to continue this struggle, side by side and shoulder to shoulder with our veterans, by sharing and elevating it," he said.
Arslan said that he should remind a few things about FETO and said:
"Unfortunately, this treacherous organization, these packs of murderers, are the most dangerous and treacherous organization in the world, which has penetrated into all parts of our state and has infiltrated all the fundamental values of our nation by corrupting our beliefs, which are the most sensitive values of our nation.
