In the accident in which two motorcycles collided in Çınarcık district of YALOVA, one of the drivers, Mustafa Sezer (28) and his wife Yaren Sezer (25), lost their lives, while their son Alparslan Sezer (3) was seriously injured. The traffic incident, in which the driver of the other motorcycle was also slightly injured, was recorded on the security camera.
The accident occurred around 11:00 at Ortaburun Junction at the entrance of NATO Road Çınarcık. The motorcycle with plate number 34 MFG 104, driven by Ömer Burhan S. (20), returning from Yalova towards Çınarcık, collided with the motorcycle with plate number 16 BTZ 421, driven by Mustafa Sezer, coming from behind. In the accident, Mustafa Sezer, his wife Yaren Sezer, their son Alparslan Sezer and the other driver Ömer Burhan S. were injured. Upon notice, medical teams were dispatched to the scene of the traffic incident. After their first aid, the injured were taken to surrounding hospitals. The injured couple, Mustafa and Yaren Sezer, could not be saved despite the efforts of the doctors. The couple's son, Alparslan Sezer, was referred to Bursa City Hospital after his intervention at Yalova State Hospital. It was learned that Sezer's health condition remains serious.
The other motorcycle driver, Ömer Burhan S., was taken into custody after his treatment.
On the other hand, the accident was recorded on a building's security camera. In the footage, it was shown that Ömer Burhan S., who was driving in the left lane with his motorcycle, suddenly switched to the right lane and wanted to turn into the intersection, while the motorcycle driven by Mustafa Sezer, who was driving in the right lane, could not stop and quickly hit the motorcycle in front of him. The moments when the drivers who were thrown from the overturned motorcycle, Yaren Sezer and his son Alparslan Sezer, and the drivers of other vehicles and the surrounding people rushed to their aid were also reflected in the footage.
