The body of Cyprus Peace Operation veteran Yasin Soğukbulak, who died at the age of 75 in the hospital where he was treated in the Arpaçay district of Kars, was buried.
Sogukbulak's coffin, wrapped in the Turkish flag, was taken to the Arpaçay Yeni Merkez Mosque after being taken from the morgue of Kars Harakani State Hospital.
After the ceremony and funeral prayer held here, Soğukbulak's body was buried in Arpaçay Asri Cemetery.
The Turkish flag was delivered to his son Emrah Soğukbulak by the protocol members.
Arpaçay District Governor Mehmet Abdulkadir Güvenç, 14th Mechanized Infantry Brigade Commander Brigadier General Nail Türe, Arpaçay Mayor Zeki Elma, Deputy Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Melih Doğruel, Family and Social Services Provincial Director Mustafa Tosunoğlu, district protocol, the veteran's family, relatives and citizens attended the ceremony.
