Dilek Öz (53) and her daughter Ercin Öz (13), who were hit by a taxi while walking on the sidewalk in KONYA, lost their lives. Taxi driver Hasan K., (30), who was injured in the accident, was treated at the hospital.
The accident occurred around 12:00 on Fetih Street in the central Karatay district. The taxi with license plate 42 TT 154, over which Hasan K. lost control, hit a parked vehicle and then Dilek Öz and her daughter Ercin Öz, who were walking on the sidewalk. Upon notice, the police and medical team were dispatched to the address. The teams determined that the mother and daughter were dead. Hasan K., the driver of the injured taxi, was taken to Konya City Hospital by ambulance. The lifeless bodies of the mother and daughter were taken to Konya Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy.
