Demolition of the 5-storey building has started within the scope of urban transformation activities in Kartaltepe District Alibey Street. A large part of the building was destroyed during the operation carried out with the help of construction equipment.
While the teams were continuing their activities, the remaining part of the building fell to its side and leaned against the adjacent 5-storey building. The residents of the building, shaken by a loud noise, ran out in panic.
Upon notice, police and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
While security measures were taken in the surrounding area, the teams demolished the section leaning against the apartment building in a controlled manner.
There was no injury in the incident, but damage occurred on the 4th floor of the apartment.
