Within the scope of a doctoral thesis project carried out at VAN Yüzüncü Yıl University (YYÜ), the behavioral profiles of Norduz sheep, one of the city's important genetic resources, are being examined. The project aims to determine which behavioral profiles of sheep utilize increasingly unproductive pasture areas more effectively due to climate change, using data obtained from GPS, motion sensors, drones, and satellite imagery vegetation data. Prof. Dr. Serhat Karaca, a faculty member at the Department of Animal Science and Breeding, Faculty of Agriculture, YYÜ, stated that the main objective of the activity is to reveal which behavioral profiles of sheep utilize increasingly fragmented and unproductive
