In Izmir's Konak district, M.E. stabbed Özcan Gizay to death, with whom they had a feud, during an argument in the car. M.E., who escaped after the incident, was caught by police teams with the crime weapon.
The incident took place around 01:00 in Konak district. There was hostility between M.E. and Özcan Gizay started arguing in the car. As the argument escalated, M.E. seriously injured Gizay with the knife next to him. Upon the notice of the surrounding people, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Özcan Gizay was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Özcan Gizay, married and father of two children, who was treated here, could not be saved despite all the intervention of the doctors.
M.E. escaped after the incident. As a result of the activities carried out by the public order teams, he was caught in a short time, along with the knife, and was taken into custody. It was reported that M.E.'s proceedings at the police station were continuing.
